Jigarthanda DoubleX 2023 is an upcoming Indian Tamil (language) period action comedy movie written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. It is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and S. Kathiresan under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creation and Invenio Origin. The film is a spiritual successor to Jigarthanda 2014 and stars Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah in the lead roles.
The film was officially announced in 2022 August. Principal photography began that December and wrapped in July, 2023. The film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography handled by Tirru and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali.
Movie Story:
Jigarthanda Double X is a stylish gangster thriller set in the 1980s. The film follows the story of a secret filmmaker who wants to know more about the life of a ruthless gangster who has killed many people in the town. The film is packed with spine-chilling thrills and hilarious comedy, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre.

The makers had announced that the film will release on 10th November 2023, along with the dubbed versions of the film in Telugu and Hindi languages.
