Development:

The collaboration between Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel was announced in December 2020, with filming commencing in January 2021. The film marks Prashanth Neel’s entry into Telugu cinema and Prabhas’ first collaboration with the director. Salaar is not a remake but an original story tailored for Prabhas, as clarified by Neel.

Casting:

Filming:
